recycling sundays

 It seems that Sundays are recycling days.This is a photo of our neighbour as she checks out the recycle bin for any cardboard etc. She has often caught us exiting the lift on our way to throwing out the rubbish, going through our rubbish to find anything that can be recycled. Now we are more carefull to sort it first- no-one wants people going through their rubbish!!! The recycle man arrived with his portable scales and everyone brings their collection of cardboard waste to be weighed and paid.

There is so much packaging on EVERYTHING here , making for  more and more recycling.

There are 2 or 3 recycling centres within 100 metres of our apartment. hard to believe that people can make enough money collecting this.
